Privacy and email policy
Short version: we keep the least we can, we never sell it, and you can leave the email list in one click.
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Trucks This Weekend email
- We store your email, the ZIP code if you give one, and which page you signed up on.
- We use it only to send the weekend food truck and things-to-do roundup.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off the list.
- We never sell, rent or share your email.
Truck schedules and event posts
- When you post a stop, an event or a truck, we keep what you typed plus your contact name and email.
- Your contact email is never shown on the site. We use it only if we have a question about your post.
- Every post is reviewed before it goes live. We never show a truck's location unless the truck or the event posted it and we approved it.
Spam protection
To stop spam and count ad views fairly we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address, for about a day (two days at most). Then we delete it. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
Site analytics
- We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies.
- We may use Microsoft Clarity to see which pages and buttons help people find trucks. Clarity can use cookies and records how the page is used, not what you type into forms.
- Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap. "Near me" asks your browser for your location only when you tap it, and it stays on your device.
